Small Groups.

God designed us for community. Whether you feel like a “people-person” or not, we all need each other. Small Groups, help us to find community that has the potential to change our lives. Just like most things, you won’t know until you try, so learn more about Small Groups today!

Go public with your faith.

Water Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. When a Christian gets baptized, they’re submerged under water and raised back out, symbolizing the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Expectations

Faithfulness in Attendance

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and alll the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:23-25)

Faithfulness in Serving

“Each one of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of god. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 4:10-11)

Faithfulness in Giving

“But just as you excel in everything in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us – see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” (2 Corinthians 8:7)

Faithfulness in Conduct

“Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel.” (Philippians 1:27)

Church Doctrine

We believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:15,16 / 1 Peter 2:2)

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three person: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4 / Matt. 28:19 / Mark 12:29 / John 5:17-30)

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His complete and perfect humanity. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations. (Isa. 7:14 / Hebrews 7:26 / Acts 2:2 / 1 Cor. 15: 3-4 / Acts 1:9,11)

We believe that man was created good and upright in the image of God, but man voluntarily sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. (Gen 1:26-27 / Gen. 2:17 / Gen. 3:6 / Romans 5:12-19)

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential to salvation, and His indwelling presence and anointing is necessary for the living of a godly empowered Christian life; and that it is only by grace, through faith in the precious blood of Christ, that can be saved from sin and it’s evil. (Luke 24:47 / Romans 8:16 / Romans 10:13-15 / Titus 2:11 / Titus 3:5-7)

We believe in the the Holy Spirit as a person, separate and distinct from and coequal in the triune Godhead with the Father and the Son. He is sent to dwell within the heart of each child of God, to comfort, to teach, to empower, and to lead into all truth. (Luke 24:49 / Acts 8:2 / Acts 10:44-46 / Acts 15:8-9)

We believe in the resurrection and judgement of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto damnation which is the second death. (Matt. 25:46 / Mark 8:34-38 / Rev. 19, 20, 11-15 / Rev. 21:8)

We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, each believer, born of the spirit is a part of the “General Assembly and CHurch of the First Born, which are written in Heaven.” (Eph. 1:22-23 / Eph. 2:22 / Heb. 12:23)

We believe that baptism of adults (persons of the age of accountability) and the Lord’s Supper are the two ordinances instituted by our Lord. (Matt. 28:19 / Acts 2:38 / 1 Cor. 11:23-26 / Matt. 26:20-29)
